NON-COLLEGE EXPENSES

The following costs are not covered in your application/deposit/tuition but should be taken into account:

-Costs incurred in attending interview
-Visa requirements for non-Canadians
-Acupuncture diagnosis consultation fee (if needed)
-Pre-requisite courses (including First Aid/CPR)
-Co-requisite courses
-Transfer of credit from other institutions to Ongiara College
-Travel costs
-Accommodation and living costs
-Acupuncture and moxibustion supplies (estimated cost: $150)
-Biomedical testing equipment (estimated cost: $100)
-Required text books (estimated cost: $1250)
-Optional books
-Scheduled pot-luck dinners at college (bring what you like to share)
-Writing materials for note-taking and point location markers (non-toxic)
-Your personal email account (required for each student)
-Your personal and complementary medical treatments
-T’ai Chi, Qi Gong, Aikido classes (outside of college)
-All expenses incurred for external clinical observation (most clinics do not charge students for observation but this is entirely at their own discretion)
-All costs incurred in eventual provincial/state licensure and/or provincial/national/state examinations
