NAMED SPONSORSHIP
Would you, either on your own or with a group of friends, like to sponsor an area of the College? All sponsors will be invited to the Grand Opening ceremony and to visit the college at any time.
Sponsorship possibilities in 2008 include:
Treatment rooms
We are looking for 12 individuals (or a group of people) who will each sponsor a treatment room at Ongiara College of Acupuncture and Moxibustion. We need 9 standard treatment rooms and 3 disabled treatment rooms. Costs are as follows: 9 standard treatment rooms (at $4,250.00 per room) and 3 disabled treatment rooms (at $5,500.00 per room). The door to ‘your’ room will have an engraved plaque, dedicating the room to whomever you choose.
Student area
The student lounge area includes lockers. Total donation $15,000.00. You will be recognized by a wall plaque in the student lounge.
Classrooms
(1) Interactive Classroom (for diagnostic skills and small group exercises): Total donation $12,500.00
(2) Lecture Room (equipped with overhead projector, projection screen, wall mounted whiteboards, multiple power points etcetera): Total donation $25,000.00
(3) Point location and practicum classroom: Total donation $17,500.00
The door to ‘your’ room will have an engraved plaque, dedicating the room to whoever you choose.
Reference library/reading room
The reference library will include a comprehensive selection of books, journals and periodicals on Oriental medicine and theory for use by students and faculty. This will be named after you or your loved one. Total donation $50,000.00
Lending library
The lending library will include a wide variety of topics including acupuncture and Oriental medicine, complementary medical therapies, allopathic medicine, nutrition, health, philosophy, spirituality, Eastern and Western religious thought and practice, plants and herbalism, Oriental culture and history, First Nation and American Indian traditions, general science, research and education. This will be named after you or your loved one. Total donation $35,000.00
Faculty room
Total donation $10,000.00. You will be recognized by a wall plaque in the faculty room.
Marquee
Needed for outdoor classes at 1198 Ridge Rd, (to seat up to 40 people with tables and chairs). This will be named after you or your loved one. Total donation $10,000.00
Garden at 85 Jarvis Street
The garden will be named after you or your loved one. Total donation $15,000.00
