Canadian students
Financial assistance to Canadian students is not currently available through OSAP or other programs as acupuncture is still documented as being unregulated in Ontario despite recent legislation. This status may change once the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario regulatory body is fully operational in two to three years time.

US students
In two years’ time, Ongiara College will be eligible to begin the application process that will enable US students to apply for funding under the US Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFEL). This will enable students to be eligible for subsidized and/or unsubsidized Stafford loans.
